Slacks go along with almost anything and can even be teamed up with a blazer. Slacks are very reasonably priced and offer good value for money. Dress pants are pants which are to be worn with formal items of apparel and there is a wide range of dress pants. Dress pants are not that expensive but dress pants by reputed fashion houses tend to be on the expensive side.
